Mike Haseler

uClimate (short for NewClimate) scans around 150 of the top climate blogs and displays the latest news.

The original idea was conceived by Mike Haseler of the Scottish Climate & Energy Forum after compiling a list of the climate blogs (see: Scottish Sceptic: the ranking of climate blogs using Alexa.) With so many sites, it was virtually impossible to keep up to date without automating the process in some way. The answer was uClimate.com.

uClimate is a simple concept: it just regularly checks each website for changes and then displays them showing the latest changes first.

However, once we have this simple technology, we can start to do things with it. For a start we can now count the number of blog postings from each site and list the currently active sites
